Cataracts

Retinal detachment

Snellen test
This test is done to check the accuracy of your vision.
Visual field test
It is performed to test the range of your field of vision in both the eyes, one after the other. In this test, you need to close one eye while the other one is being examined by the doctor
Goldmann perimeter
Your peripheral vision is tested with this method.
Ophthalmoscopy
A flashlight is used to check the health of your retina and other areas behind the pupil.
Tonometry
This test is done to determine the eye pressure.
Maintaining eye health
If you want to maintain good eye health, you need to be serious about eye health. You need to eat healthy, which must include the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. Staring at the mobile or computer screen continuously can harm your eyes, too. Resting your eyes every 20 minutes, blinking more, and using an eye drop prescribed by the doctor can help. When you are going out during the daytime, do not forget to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from the UV rays.
